Bulwell woman’s Boots ban

An 18-year-old Bulwell girl has been banned from every Boots store in Nottinghamshire after going on a shoplifting spree, a court heard.

Leah Bowler, of Caporn Close, Highbury Vale, pleads guilty to four offences of stealing from three different Boots shops.

The ban was imposed by Nottingham Magistrates’ Court as one of the conditions of her bail when the case was adjourned this week.

She was also ordered to live and sleep at her home address until the sentencing hearing on Tuesday 18th March when a report on her by the probation service will be presented to the court.

Bowler’s shoplifting offences began on Monday 21st October last year when she stole fragrance gift-sets worth £118.50 from the Boots store on Mansfield Road, Sherwood.

She also admits stealing fragrance box-sets worth £129.50 from Boots on High Road, Beeston on Sunday 27th October, fragrance gift-sets worth £109.50 from Boots on Mansfield Road, Sherwood on Monday 11th November, and electrical items worth £559.07 from Boots at the Fosse Shopping Park in Leicester on Monday 27th January this year.
