Adventurous youngsters put up tents, took part in sleeping bag challenges and learned about outdoor cooking.

This year the guides, who meet at 6.30pm at Quarrydale School have held a talent show, grown their own vegetables, made a patchwork owl and taken part in a forest barbecue.
