Breaking news: four people injured in Mansfield crash

A vehicle overturned after a collision between a Fiat Panda and an Audi A3 on Carter Lane in Mansfield this morning (Wednesday 21st January).

Police, fire crews and an ambulance were called to the scene on A6191 Rock Hill at the B6030 Carter Lane junction at 10:45am.

Four people were injured in the incident.

One person was released and taken to hospital by ambulance before the fire service arrived.

Firefighters had to cut free a female occupant of the Fiat and she was taken to hospital after treatment by paramedics.

The extent of her injuries are currently unknown.

Crews from Ashfield and Edwinstowe and a rapid response unit attended the accident

The A6191 Rock Hill road was closed in both directions between Windsor Road and Newgate Lane due to the accident.
