BREAKING: Fire at former miners' welfare building in Annesley Woodhouse

Firefighters are currently dealing with a fire at a derelict building in Annesley Woodhouse.

Crews from Ashfield, Hucknall, Mansfield and Highfield are dealing with the blaze at the former Annesley Woodhouse Miners’ Welfare building on Derby Road.

Four fire engines and the aerial ladder platform are currently in attendance and the fire is in the roof and main building of the property.

The building has been empty for several years. The A611 Derby Road is reportedly closed at the Badger Box junction.
