BREAKING: Arrest made over Sutton knife attack

Shane Lewis, of Marlborough Road, Kirkby, was arrested yesterday and has been charged with grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court this morning, August 12.

Polcie were called to a house at Barnes Crescent on Wednesday afternoon at around 4.45pm where it was reported that a mother-of-three in her 30s had been assaulted.

She was taken away in an ambulance and later discharged from hospital, it is understood.
