Breakfast seminar to boost public sector and business link-up

The event has been organised by the East Midlands Property Alliance (empa) and co-hosts Robert Woodhead and Ashe Construction, both of which are commercial construction companies and empa framework contractor partners.

Empa is a body of East Midlands local authorities whose collaborative procurement arrangements bring about greater savings for public sector clients on their construction and property maintenance projects – while delivering schemes to a high quality with a focus on investing in local supply chains.

Organisations are encouraged to send representatives who will have the chance to network and learn about the benefits of shared working through empa while also hearing from two prominent speakers.

Expert insight into the principles of BIM and public sector estate rationalisation will be on the agenda.

The seminar, the latest in a series of regular breakfast meetings to encourage construction industry businesses to network and discover the benefits of collaborative procurement, will be held on Tuesday, June 17 from 8am to 10.30am at Edwinstowe House in Nottinghamshire.
