The 13-year-old had gone missing from her home on Bosworth Street last Saturday after a minor row with her mum Kelly and step-dad Danny over chores.

Amber’s body was found on Tuesday after a three-day search. The cause of death was hanging, and police have emphasised that there were no suspicious circumstances.

In a statement, her family, who had moved to Mansfield from Tibshelf a year ago, said: “We will always remember Amber for her love of singing and dancing.

“She was never happier than when reading to her younger sisters and being surrounded by her family.

“We will always be grateful for our last family holiday with our beautiful daughter. We will always miss her.”

People across the local community and further afield have also paid tribute to Amber.
