BMW crash victim named

The 21-year-old man who died in a collision on the road between Ollerton and Worksop has been indentified.

Krystian Piotr Namlik, from the Worksop area, was travelling in a red BMW Coupe when it left Ollerton Road (B6034), near Carburton, at around 1.10pm on Tuesday 18th December.

He was critically injured in the crash, and later died at Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre.

A 26-year-old man, who was in the same car, was also injured and remains in a serious condition in hospital.

No other vehicle is believed to have been involved in the incident and no-one else was injured.

Anyone who witnessed the crash, or saw a red BMW in the area around the time of the incident, should call the Crash Investigation Unit on 101, extension 800 2225.
