BLIDWORTH Welfare Band will be representing the midlands in the National Brass Band Championship of Great Britain.
They finished third out of 17 at a heat at the Civic Hall in Bedworth on 9th March to make it through.
Musical director, Martin Heartfield said: “They played to the best of their abilities and were justly rewarded. I am very proud to be associated with such a fine, hardworking band.”
The National Championship takes place in Cheltenham in September.
