The brand has appeared as concessions in department store chain Beales as part of a relaunch of the brand.

Tony Brown, Beales chief executive, told the Financial Times that BHS were ‘passionate about getting the brand back on the UK high street.’

Mr Brown, who was the retail director at BHS between 2001 and 2008 added the chain intend to specialise in lighting and homewares from next year.

Currently, the Mansfield Branch only sells BHS ladies clothing, with 15 of the 22 Beales stores across the country stocking different items from the BHS range.

Staff at the Mansfield BHS branch were among 8,000 employees country-wide facing
redundancy.

There is no word currently on future plans for the BHS store in Mansfield Town Centre, which has stood empty since the firm fell into administration.

Units 32-36b West Gate, comprising the former BHS site and neighbouring Clarks shoe store, sold for £1.86 million to an unknown buyer in July 2017, but the store is still empty.
