Be vigilant, police warn in Hucknall
Burglaries in Hucknall have been on the increase over the past two weeks and police are asking residents to be even more vigilant in the run up to Christmas.
A spokesman said: “The police are running extra patrols but seek your support by reporting any suspicious incidents or persons wandering about, especially after dark. When out Christmas shopping please make sure your purchases are kept well out of sight if they are left in an unattended vehicle.”
People are urged to report thefts from vehicles even if they think there is no chance catching the offender. The information enables police to target resources.
