SUTTON’S Barry Whitehead takes to the skies for a parachute jump in aid of John Eastwood Hospice.
Barry, pictured in blue and green, and his sister Julie Davis made the 12,000ft jump at Langar Airfield in Nottingham in memory of their father David.
The pair have raised more than £600 which will be donated to the hospice.
Barry said: “It was amazing - you could see for miles and free falling was fantastic.
“It was quite nice to get my feet back on the ground and know that I had survived it. Now it is a bit surreal.”
And he added: “I would like to say a big ‘thank-you’ to everyone who sponsored me and to the people who helped me get sponsorship.”
