Rainbows provides respite, palliative and end-of- life care to more than 300 children and young people who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions in the East Midlands.
It also provides support to more than 300 bereaved families and more than 600 siblings but is dependent on donations to keep operations afloat.
Kate Golding, head of organisational giving at Rainbows, said: “The Ikano Bank team has supported us for years, and this latest donation is going to go a really long way. Health Week has certainly proved that they are the fittest, healthiest and most genergous co-workers in our eyes.

Just £50 can help pay for a popular music therapy session for our children, so such a large donation will go a long way to helping us with all the facilities we offer here at Rainbows, like our hydrotherapy pool and minibus trips.”
