The Hamilton medley was the highlight of the evening and it was this that drama staff at Ashfield decided to enter into the national competitio.

It was clearly the right decision as not only did the students win, but they also had the honour of being invited to perform their work live in Westminster Hall in London.

The students did not disappoint, and performed with total professionalism and enthusiasm with group saying how proud they were to represent Ashfield.

They received a great deal of positive feedback from audience members, including Paul Webster (the subject adviser for the entire BTEC specification), who commented upon the Ashfield students’ impressive level of heart.
