Ashfield residents to receive recycling information booklet

RESIDENTS across the Ashfield district will be receiving an information booklet about how best to recycle their rubbish.

In a campaign led by Nottinghamshire County Council’s waste contractor, Veolia Environmental Services, it is hoped the initiative will help residents make sure sure they put the right things in their recycling bin.

“We will be distributing an information pack to over 18,000 households across Nottinghamshire,” said Kevin Parker of Veolia.

“The packs will include a leaflet and bin sticker that are designed to help residents understand what they should and should not put into their recycle bin.

“We’re also directing residents to the website areyoubinsmart.co.uk where they can view handy hints and advice on recycling.”
