Ashfield MP comes top in online response survey

The WriteToThem.com website, which provides an easy way for people to contact their elected representatives, said that Gloria responding to 93 per cent of the site’s users who sent her a message.

Gloria (pictured) said: “I know there are a variety of ways constituents choose to contact their MP and WriteToThem is just one but it’s really nice to find I’m top in the East Midlands. Its really important to me to ensure people who take the time to contact me get a response but the most important thing is that they are happy with the work they ask me to do on their behalf.”

Two weeks after sending a message through the site, users are asked whether or not they received a response.

Spokesman Myfanwy Nixon said: Well done to Gloria De Piero - she has shown that it’s possible to keep up with the hefty mailbag that comes with an MP’s position.”
