ASHFIELD: Illness support group boost
The Ashfield Hidden Illness Support Group, which raises awareness and supports people suffering from conditions such as Fibromyalgia, MS, ME, depression and anxiety attacks has been awarded a welcome funding boost.
The group, which meets fortnightly at Nuncar Court, Kirkby, has received £1,021 from Ashfield District councillors so it can increase activities it offers, including tai chi, gentle exercises, crafts and outings.
