Ashfield fire station recruitment evening tonight

A spokesman said: “Ashfield Fire Station is hosting an event this evening where you can come down, see our fire engines and find out how you can apply to be an on-call firefighter.

“The event runs from 7pm until 9pm but if you can’t make this evening, another event is planned for this Saturday (8 September) between 9.30am and 12pm.

“We’ll also be running a Facebook Live event in the coming weeks where you’ll be able to ask questions about the role and find out more! Watch this space.”
