Armed police catch designer thieves in Shirebrook
Police have arrested a man and a woman who had 19 high value designer garments, big holdalls, wire cutters and no receipts in their car in Shirebrook.
Derbyshire Roads Policing Unit, Derbyshire Armed Policing Unit and Shirebrook Safer Neighbourhood Team pulled over the vehicle which had links to shop thefts yesterday.
A Roads Policing Unit spokesman said: "Stopped to find 19 high value designer garments, big holdalls, wire cutters but amazingly no receipts. Confirmed as stolen 10 minutes previous. Male and female arrested."
