Apprentice star to visit West Notts College

A STAR of the hit BBC show, ‘The Apprentice’, is set to visit students at West Nottinghamshire College next week.

Philip Taylor – a candidate from the fifth series of ‘The Apprentice’ will be giving an inspirational talk about his success in business and his experiences on the popular TV show, followed by a question and answer session for students.

More than 80 students from the college’s various sites will meet with Philip on Friday 18th March to hear more about his life and profession. MP for Ashfield, Gloria de Piero will also be in attendance to discuss the importance of education.

Philip (30) is best remembered for his product called ‘The Body Rocka’, a portable core training unit which works to train the body’s core muscle groups. He founded Rocka Fitness Ltd in 2010.

He has recently been appointed as Apprenticeship Scheme Marketing Manager for the City of London and is looking forward to introducing young, aspirational people to great businesses in the financial square mile.
