Application submitted for caravan forecourt in Mansfield

The application is for land on a derelict site at 138 Chesterfield Road North, which was previously used for antique furniture sales.

If the application is approved, the site will include a portable building to be used as an office, and security fencing around the perimeter.

The site would have space for 30 caravans, and ample parking so that customers using the forecourt with caravans attached to their vehicles will not obstruct the road.

Proposed opening times would be Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, and Sundays and Bank Holidays 10am-4.30pm.

Customers would make an appointment to view the caravans and motorhomes, so as not to become overcrowded.
