Appeal over assault in Mansfield Debenhams

Police are appealing for information about an 'alleged assault' in a Mansfield department store on a busy shopping Saturday.

Officers have also released a CCTV image of a woman they want to speak to in connection with the incident, which happened in Debenhams in the Four Seasons shopping centre.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesman said: “Officers would like to speak to her in relation to an alleged assault in the Debenhams store in Mansfield on Saturday 15 July at about 10.15am.”

The woman is described as aged in her mid 20s, with blonde hair in a ponytail. She was wearing a cream coloured top.

Anyone who recognises her, or has any information, is urged to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident 242 of July 27, 2017, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
