Appeal for missing man Gary Betteridge in Mansfield area

POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a missing man who was last seen in the Mansfield area.

Gary Betteridge (43) is thought to be in a fragile state of mind and is possibly suffering from depression.

He is believed to be in the Mansfield area which is where he was last seen or possibly in other parts of Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire. He is not believed to have accessed any money or refuelled his tank.

He is thought to be driving a white LDV pickup, with the registration FX54GBF. The vehicle has bright green lettering on the sides with the business name ‘Forrest Tower Fencing’ on it. Searches for this vehicle have so far failed, leading police to believe it may be parked up in a lorry park or lay-by.

Gary was last seen in Mansfield on the morning of the 21st September at around 9am after leaving his home in Lincoln at around 8am. Initial police enquiries have so far failed to trace Gary and it is not known where he may have travelled to after he was seen in Mansfield.
