Appeal after man is left with serious facial injuries following assault in Mansfield

The assault happened outside the Prince Charles pub, Clipstone Road West, Forest Town, at around 12am on Sunday, August 19.

A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident and has been bailed.

A 43-year-old man suffered facial injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since had to attend a number of follow-up hospital appointments for his injuries.

Police believe a number of people were present during the incident and are urging anyone who witnessed the assault, or has any other information, call police on 101, quoting incident number 9 of August, 19, 2018, or crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
