The Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair takes place at the Newark and Nottinghamshire Showground next week.
Thousands of stalls will offer visitors a multitude of choice. Chinaware of all different colours and patterns, silverware in all shapes and sizes, as well as all manner of furniture and gardenalia, on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August.
The items available at an antique fair are characterful, says Rachel Everett, Operations Manager for the event organisers International Antiques & Collectors Fairs Ltd (IACF), adding: “The style and quality of goods that can be purchased from the Newark fair are distinctive. They’re not your run of the mill products that can be found in just any store. You’ll discover antique items and all kinds of vintage goods that will add to and complement your individual sense of style.”
From rustic chic, to country charm and from antique grandeur to vintage sophistication, the style possibilities for the home are extensive.
Rachel continued: “On arrival at the fair, visitors will soon discover the potential of antique and collectable goods. With items to suit all tastes and pockets, they’ll want to make a trip to the Newark International Antiques & Collectors Fair a regular outing”.
The showground will open from 9am at a cost of £20 per person (which allows entry on Friday also). Admission on Friday 24th August is from 8am at a cost of £5 per person.
