A RIDING club next to Annesley Woods was targeted by vandals just one week after arsonists torched expensive showjumping equipment.

The Warren Riding Club was hit some time between noon on 17th August and 9.30am on 19th August.

Someone gained entry into a portable office and threw items around.

It is not believed anything was stolen.

The incident comes just a week after firebugs struck at the club on 10th August, damaging competition equipment and an office.

Club chairman Judith Dawson-Payne said members were in shock following the two incidents.

“We just hope nothing else happens,” she said.

Anyone with information about the incident should contact Nottinghamshire Police on 0300 3009999.

Officers say folk can also contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
