Animal loving Teegan is saying thank you to PDSA

A Mansfield animal-lover who has a complex learning disability is raising money to help pets in need.

Teegan Hughes, 31, is a charity volunteer with a passion for fundraising, and is holding an evening with live music, craft stalls, burlesque dancers and incredible raffle prizes to raise funds for the PDSA.

Teegan was moved to support PDSA after her beloved greyhound, Foxy, needed emergency treatment from the charity.

Tina Sherwood, Teegan’s mother, said: “Teegan’s dogs, Foxy and Fudge, play a huge part in her life.

“They provide so much joy and enable her to have some independence and self-confidence.

“The team at PDSA provided Foxy with outstanding care which is why we wanted to give something back to say thank you.”

While the fundraising event on Sunday (April 29) is a sellout, locals can still support it by taking part in the live online raffle via the Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TeamTripawd
