Edwinstowe Business Forum is working hard to breathe new life into the community with a series of small events which will focus on the village as a characterful and lively place for its residents and visitors.
Local shop proprietor Katie Worker is planning the latest event, Something Different - a Handmade and Vintage Fair, which will be an opportunity to enjoy some of the talent of local makers and designers.
Katie said: “There are so many creative people in the area and one of the things which we are trying to achieve is to open people’s eyes to the potential of Edwinstowe as a centre for the handmade and the vintage.
“Stalls will include jewellery, bath products, cards, gifts, homeware, cakes and many more. On the run-up to the Robin Hood Festival, we are really excited to host this event and we are hoping that people will take time to come and see what we are doing, enjoy a wealth of local talent and a great day out.”
The event takes place in Thoresby Miners Welfare on Fourth Avenue, Edwinstowe on 12th August from 10am until 4pm.
All are welcome.
