Alfreton-based Wildgoose Construction take on more staff as part of expansion

The firm has moved to Horsefair House in King Street after creating 10 new jobs, taking the number of staff to 72.

The increase in employees comes as Wildgoose projects a turnover of £40m by the end of September 2014, compared to £25m at the same time last year.

Wildgoose has increased the number of construction teams from four to five, taking on three new site managers, a new contracts manager, a design and build manager, two estimators, a buyer and a site engineer.

A management trainee has also been employed and the firm is looking to increase the size of its team further now the move has taken place.

Jonathan Wildgoose, chairman of Wildgoose Construction, said he was delighted to announce that the move to Alfreton had been completed.

He said: “Our new offices in King Street have been thoroughly modernised by our own construction team and have been completed to an extremely high standard which reflects the care and attention that we afford to all of our construction contracts.

“It is a superb working environment with room to grow, and we are growing, having taken on additional staff to reflect our increased workload, which will see the company achieve a record turnover this year, in the region of £40m.
