Albanian man faces cannabis grow charges in Mansfield
A homeless Albanian man has been charged with growing cannabis and stealing electricity in Mansfield.
Shkelzen Malo, 30, of no fixed abode, made no plea when he appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
The court heard that Malo, an Albanian national, has already been deported once, but had returned to the UK.
He was charged with growing 35 cannabis plants at his former home address, on Chesterfield Road North, on June 25.
He was remanded in custody until a trial on July 25 at Nottingham Crown Court.
