A pedestrian who was hit by a car in Mansfield town centre and airlifted to hospital did not suffer life-threatening injuries, police have confirmed.
The male was knocked down on Leeming Street at around 4pm on Friday.
He was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre. Police say no arrests had been made and there were no suspicious circumstances.
The helicopter landed on the A6009, St Peter’s Way, close to its junction with the A60 Woodhouse Road, and the roads were closed for around three hours as police carried out an investigation.
