BFS Accountants, of Southwell Road West, linked up with the Sheffield-based Foundry Films for the TV-style ad, which features four child actors portrayed as young business owners.

Boss Craig Benford said: “We wanted something creative and engaging that would send the right message to start-ups and established businesses that have ambitions of growth.

“We were looking to highlight some of the typical problems that small-business owners experience with their accountants, and this is reflected in the scripting for the advert.

“The children talk about how their accountants have missed deadlines, cost them money and aren’t easy to contact.

“We want businesses to realise this isn’t how it should be, and their accountants should work in partnership with them to help grow their business.

“At BFS, we are not only accountants but also business advisers.”

Martyn Standering, co-owner of Foundry Films, said: “We came up with an idea that was creatively unique and would resonate with the type of clients BFS seeks to help.”
