One user said: “I came home early from work. The woman was threatening to jump off the bridge I saw a man trying to talk to her and coax her down, I do hope they talked her down.”

Another user added: “I hope she is safe that’s all that matters.”

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said this morning that the woman is safe now.
