A38 reopens after RTC
The A38 in the Alfreton area has reopened after being closed follow a road traffic collision between a lorry and a car.
Police and the Highways Agency were advising motorists to find an alternative route following the incident, which has happened between Cotes Park and the South Normanton turn off earlier this morning (Tuesday 22nd July).
Long delays were reported in the are - up to an hour in some cases - but the road is now open and the tailbacks are clearing.
