A chilly start for the East Midlands with showers developing
The Met Office forecast for the East Midlands for today, Friday, April 8 is for a chilly start with showers later.
It will be cold and foggy to start with but this will clear quickly to leave a bright morning with some sunshine.
A few showers are likely to develop by midday but with light winds it should feel pleasant in any sunshine.

It will be dry this evening but a band of cloud and rain will affect all parts after midnight.
Temperatures after falling during the evening will rise again as the rain arrives.
Minimum Temperature 4 °C.
