19-year-old man left with serious injuries after attack in Mansfield

Detectives are investigating after a man was left with serious injuries to his face and back after he was assaulted by a group of men in Mansfield.

The 19-year-old man is now being treated at the Queen's Medical Centre.

It happened at around 3.10am on Sunday, September, 16, near to the bus station in Quaker Way.

A police spokesman said: "It's believed another man was assaulted by the same group shortly beforehand but got away with minor injuries.
