Richard Watkinson announce new branch manager

ESTATE agents Richard Watkinson has announced Alistair Smith is to be the new manager of their Mansfield branch.

The change comes as part of new plans by the company to open a new office in Melton Mowbray, and strengthen their presence in the East Midlands region.

The new office will be headed up by Nick Bingham, a partner who opened the Mansfield office, although Nick will remain as partner responsible for both and will continue to do the rural, survey and professional work.

The new manager at the Mansfield office will be Alistair Smith, who previously worked as a residential valuer at the Newark branch and has been with the company for 8 years.

He said: “Mansfield continues to see inward investment and is now the largest town in Nottinghamshire.

“With further expansion plans and its strong heritage combined with good accessibility to the M1 & A1, the town makes for a cost effective commuter area.”

“In March 2012, our New Homes department are launching an interesting new development - The Woodlands, Spion Kop, Warsop which will comprise 52 bungalows, 6 town houses, and a 40 bedroomed residential care home”.
