Many people can now form a support bubble with one other household, meaning that many families are seeing each other for the first time in months, those who are shielding are still at home. So for those who can now go out and celebrate Father’s Day here are eight trips. Make sure you social distance and you might want to bring a umbrella because of the changeable weather.
1. Bargain Shopping
Missed out on bagging a bargain during lockdown, well East Midland Designer Outlet is back open along with the food court for take out and toilets.

2. Family Cycle
Sherwood Forest is open Saturday and Sunday 9am to 5.30pm and a takeaway stand is offering food including sausage rolls, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks, cakes and ice cream.

3. Family Walk
Teversal Trail a circular route on former railway lines, you can access it from Teversal Trails Visitors Centre, however the car park is currently closed. You can also access it from the car park on Silverhill Lane, Teversal.

4. Newstead Abbey
The Abbey is open Newstead Park is open, including the car park, formal gardens, toilets and baby changing. Car park charges are £6. Café kiosk will be available with takeaway service and contactless payment only.
