Two men, aged 38 and 31 were arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft.

The car, stolen during a burglary in December, had been travelling on cloned plates and has been recovered.

Detective Sergeant Nathan Bingham said: “We’ve been on the lookout for this car for a while and were very quickly able to call on additional resources one we did.

“Thanks to the presence in the area of a police helicopter we had the ability to follow this vehicle over a long distance, but in the end were able to bring this vehicle to a swift and complaint stop.”
