Barratt bolsters its workforce

The firm has bolstered its workforce with several new appointments - which its says highlights how the local housing market is picking up.

Bosses believe this is partly down to the introduction of the Government backed Help to Buy scheme.

David Mackintosh has been appointed as the new senior sales manager for the division, Joanne Willoughby-Smith as a trainee sales manager and Mark Furness, who has been employed as a project manager.

Said John Dillon, managing director for Barratt North Midlands: “Since joining the company, Joanne, Mark and David, have demonstrated that they are extremely passionate about the industry and I’m confident they have the right mix of skill and ability to maintain the high standards that we set at the North Midlands division.”

The three new appointments follow the company’s move in January to bigger offices at Nottingham Business Park.

Barratt Homes is building a range of new homes at a number of developments throughout Nottinghamshire.

The company also has a number of new homes developments in nearby Derbyshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
