This year Black Friday, which started in the USA as a post-Thanksgiving event before spreading around the world, falls on November 27.
While many outlets are closed for browsing until December 2, shops classed as ‘essential’ retailers have been able to keep their doors open, while numerous high street names are already running Black Friday sales online with click and collect options available in some cases.

6. Currys PC World
Currys has started offering Black Friday price deals online, and has pledged to refund the price difference if an item is cheaper on the day itself.
