Our online booking system is still active but isn’t essential. Masks are optional. We are allowing people to come back to the bar, but keeping our popular online ordering app. Photo: The Talbot
All of our staff will continue to wear face coverings, however for customers – it’s a personal choice .
All meals and drinks at The Red will continue to be served via table service only in all areas including outside on The Pier - there will be no service at any bar.
We kindly ask you to book your tables for food and drinks as you do now, however, customers without table bookings will also be welcomed, subject to availability. Customers will be again allowed to ‘mingle’ between tables and chat to friends from the 19th, however, to help us out, please order your drinks from your designated table –and no, you do not have to be seated to order! Hand sanitizing stations will remain available– we encourage customers to sanitize their hands upon arrival and during your visit too.
All cutlery, wine glasses and sanitized condiment bottles will be brought to your table by your server as they do now.
Our famous ‘Red & Green’ card service will remain in place too. Menus will continue to be ‘single use’ and a member of our team will take your order when you are seated at your table.
Restrictions on table sizes will be completely relaxed from 19th July.
We will no longer require customers to ‘Track & Trace’, however we will have the ‘check in’ QR posters still available for anyone that wishes to do so. Our washrooms will continue to be meticulously cleaned every hour by our attendants
We will continue to offer our amazing ‘takeaways’ whenever we can, however our restaurant customers will be given priority.
All tables removed for social distancing will be put back in situ – however, at times some of these tables will not be available for customer use.

To enable us to provide a quality experience for each and every visitor to Ciao Bella, we will be keeping table service in place.
This will allow our guests to relax and enjoy their evening without queuing at the bar, with the fantastic service of our front-of-house staff, who can walk you through our drinks and food menu and provide recommendations. In addition, keeping our bar area queue-free has helped our restaurant to be more accessible and inclusive for all, with more space to get around!
We will also be retaining our two-hour slots for any Ciao Bella Lounge bookings, which has helped us to maintain our operational flow and improve our customer service through better planning.
For walk-in bookings, we are still able to take these on both the weekdays and weekends. However, wherever possible, we would appreciate you booking beforehand to reduce the pressure on our staff and be able to provide you with the best possible experience. Photo: Ciao Bella

Should we need to move an event into Canvas due to Palace Theatre show scheduling, we will inform you – these events in Canvas would still be seated, with table service as they are now – with dancing round your table allowed.
