Ye Old Plough Inn, later known as the China Fong restaurant which closed in 2018, dates back to the 1870’s.
A new single storey Co-Op retail store, as well as 26 car parking spaces will be created on the now vacant site on Chesterfield Road North, Pleasley.
Permission to build the building was granted by Mansfield District Council in July.
