Updated: Food hygiene ratings revealed - including one-out-of-five score for Mansfield chippy

Food hygiene inspectors have been busy visiting a host of pubs and takeaways across Mansfield and Ashfield .

The results of their latest visits have now been posted on the Food Standards Agency’s website, with each business awarded a hygiene rating from zero through to five.

They include a one-out-of-five rating for a Mansfield chippy, meaning major improvement is necessary.

They also include a two rating, meaning some improvement is necessary, following the second inspection of a popular Mansfield pub within six weeks, after an earlier score of two.

Other possible ratings are: five – hygiene standards are very good; four – hygiene standards are good; three – hygiene standards are generally satisfactory; and zero – urgent improvement is required.Here are some of the latest venues visited and their rating…
