The Big Fish on the Ollerton roundabout is currently being advertised on Rightmove and Prime Location for £1,250,000.

The restaurant and takeaway on Old Rufford Road is operated by Wards Fisheries ltd, which according to The Big Fish website, has been a family run business for almost 40 years.

One review of the business on Google Reviews by a Doug Haigh, said: “This fish and chip restaurant gives Nottinghamshire a virtual coastline. It's just like seaside fish and chips.”

Another review by an Anne Davison said: “Impressed. There are plenty of other options on the menu apart from chips and fish. We would call in again if in the area.”

Ernest Wilsons & Co Limited, a Leeds business agent, who is marketing the business “well known” and “well respected”, said it is in an “enviable position” as it is passed by trade all day.
