This Mansfield tea room has a very special offer for Mother's Day

The Little Sugar Shack in Mansfield has put a twist on the traditional Mother’s Day gift, a bouquet of flowers, by making it out of cupcakes.

Costing £17, the seven cupcakes decorated to look like flowers can be given to a Nan or Grandmother as well.

And, if you don’t quite fancy the bouquet design you can buy Mother’s Day themed cupcakes, a box of four costs £6.

A spokeswoman for the Sugar Shack on Queen Street said: “We’ve been baking cakes for over eight years and had many compliments on taste and quality, their the perfect little gift for someone special at a special price.”

The Sugar Shack is taking orders for all of its Mother’s Day treats including a butterscotch tart board and cookie slab – but has warned that customers need to order early to not be disappointed.

The Sugar Shack is also hosting afternoon tea on Mother’s Day which this year lands on March 22 and the day before, March 21.

For two adults it costs £25 as part of a special deal and for that you get sandwiches, cakes, scones, sweet treats, fruit and a drink.
