Mansfield Town Football Club beat Bristol City on penalties at Wembley, to win the Freight Rover Trophy in front of a mammoth crowd.
More than 58,000 fans made the trip to Wembley that day, with thousands of fans flocking down from the North Notts area to give Stags the support they deserved.
They left happy after watching Stags write their name in Wembley history to cap one of the club’s greatest ever moments.
On May 25 a huge celebratory bus parade was attended by thousands of fans wanting to catch a glimpse of their footballing heroes.
