Are you one of the Mansfield swimmers in these retro pictures from the 70s to the 90s?

When people ask what Mansfield is famous for, an answer which comes up time and time again is our swimming success.

With one of our swimming centres named after our very own double Olympic champion Rebecca Adlington, and the Hynd and Henshaw Competition Pool at Water Meadows named after Paralympic swimming heroes Sam and Ollie Hynd and Charlotte Henshaw, Mansfield has its fair share of home-grown swimming stars.

We have trawled the archives for pictures of our swimming stars past and present and the pools in the area.

Have a look through and see if you can spot any familiar faces.
