As Mansfield music and drama festival returns later this month – we thought we would look back in our archives over the decades to see if there are any familiar faces in the mix.

This year's Mansfield music and drama festival takes place from April 23, to 27.

The festival has run since 1924 with everything from amateur dramatics to poetry recitals, instrumental performances and full days celebrating some of the region’s top choirs and orchestras.

There will be a winners concert on Sunday, May 14, at the Palace Theatre.
