“By taking part in the London Marathon on our behalf, you’ll be taking on an unforgettable challenge while helping to make a difference at a time where we need your help more than ever.
She added: “Thanks to you, we can be there for patients involved in life-threatening incidents when minutes matter.”

Hide AdIf a marathon is a step too far, LNAA also has guaranteed places in this year’s Lincoln 10K, due to take place on Sunday, June 27, and the SimplyHealth Great North Run planned for Sunday, September 12.
The air ambulance is an independent charity which relies solely on donations from members of the public.
It is thanks to the support and generosity of local fundraisers, like those who will take on the marathon, that LNAA can remain operational.

The money raised by supporters can help to stock LNAA’s helicopter and critical care cars with crucial medical supplies such as ventilators, advanced medicines and blood used to carry out transfusions on those patients that are suffering from catastrophic bleeding.
The rapid intervention of highly skilled doctors, paramedics and pilots at the scene of an incident often makes the difference between life and death.
